Purchasing wine in Cape Canaveral prior to Disney cruise?
 

We are taking a Disney cruise, and will be flying in the same day with Disney transfers to the ship. I'm not in favor of trying to pack wine onboard the airline. So, I am wondering if there are any shops in Cape Canaveral, to purchase some wine prior to boarding the ship? Is there anything within walking distance from the ship?

Not really anything close to the dock, at least not when I cruised last year from there. You'd have to take a cab to a beverage store. We took one of the boxed wines onboard and checked it on the flight and it was fine. They may be tighter about all the baggage rules on the ships now so don't spend a lot on wine that they may not let you keep.

Disney does not have a liquor policy. Bring whatever you like but I wouldn't overdo it.<BR><BR>Paul

Just make sure you don't share the wine with your tablemates. Let them buy their own!
