Yes, I usually do not gain when we cruise but I did gain 2 pounds this last time that I'm still trying to get off, and I am sure it is because of the ice cream and very good desserts!

I'm 34 and find that I am usually the youngest (not including children) on ships, as we tend to travel when the families are in school. In general we have found the age groups to be a little "older", except for the caribbean, but that's fine with me as I prefer that age group over the young, drunk, and rowdy crowd:)

Have a great cruise, I'm jealous, we don't have any cruises planned right now:)

I have been on the Grand, Golden, Star, Sea, Sun, Dawn and Coral Princess and they have all had a basketball court.

I just looked at the floor plans of the Sapphire and it looks like the basketball court is on deck 15.

If you want to be exactly sure - I would ask on Cruise Critic - you most likely will find someone who was on the ship within the last month.

Well I called Princess again about this and asked if these ships had Bball and if they were removed because of noise complaints from spa patrons as mentioned by spur and was told that indeed was the case. No Bball anymore. Adios. :S-

Theresa: BYW if you read the entire thread you will see I was on that ship last mo. Bon voyage!

Jacketwatch - The bbq on some of the ships are sort of hidden - it is possible that even if it was on the ship, one may not have noticed it. That is why I posted it.
