Pregnancy and cruising

I am 6 months pregnant. I am having a normal pregnancy. My husband surprised me with a 7 day cruise. We will be leaving in 2 weeks. Has any other pregnant mothers cruised this far into pregnancy?

Anything I should plan for?

As long as your OB/GYN gives you the okay, I say have a blast. Be careful of the excursions that you consider (no horseback riding or off-road biking obviously).

It's better to be pregant on a cruise than to be ona cruise with young kids. I wish they could hide in a kangaroo like pouch during the trip.

Linda:

I have checked into this and have found that a lot of cruise lines will not let you cruise if you are in your 3rd trimester. Not sure how they would know, if you didn't come out and tell them...but it is in the fine print in the back of the cruise brochures.

You might be cutting it close, esp if you are 6m2w now and if this is a policy they "enforce" Not sure how they could though.

S
