Ports of Call: PLEASE HELP

Hi... My husband and I will be sailing on the Galaxy (Southern Carribean Itinerary) in two weeks. We need some advice on what to do or what to avoid at the following ports:
- Antigua
- Barbados
- St. Lucia
- St. Croix
- St. Thomas
- San Juan

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Silvia

Silvia -- check cruiescritic.com, lots of very detailed traveler reviews of the ships and itineraries, and an active board. cruisemates.com also has lots of reviews. I'm sure you'll find what you need there. have a great trip--we're doing Century in Feb! :)

Just returned on 11/11/00 on the Galaxy.
Hired a taxi to take us to Marigot Bay and lookouts on St. Lucia. There's a $1 ferry to take you across the bay to the beach club while the driver waits. Looks like the South Pacific. Used a private driver also on Antigua and Barbados but these are not as nice. For nice beach and scenery do the St. John beach tour from St. Thomas. Nothing much in St. Croix. Enjoy, the ship and food were great.

We just returned from the Grand Princess and at St. Thomas went went on the St. John's Island Tour. We really enjoyed it a lot. Some other folks went on the St. John's Snorkeling Tour and really enjoyed it also.
