Packing for Alaska cruise in June
We are sailing on Mercury on June 8th. I know what to pack for dinners on board, but what about daywear? Will we need warm clothing? Will jeans and sweatshirt with raincoat/windbreaker be sufficient? It sounds like weather could be anything from pleasantly warm to cold and rainy. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just pack clothing you can layer. Jeans are fine. We went the first week in August and had unusually warm weather. Bring some cotton turtle necks you can wear under sweatshirts. Also bring a couple short sleeve tops and cotton sweaters and a wind breaker with a hood. A rain poncho wouldn't hurt. Don't forget binoculars!

The key word is layers. The weather can be cold or warm. We had a glorious week and went the end of June. One day was so warm we were in shorts and bathing suits by the pool. The day at the Glacier is so cold (If on deck) you need mittens and hats. Fleeces do fine.
Raingear, windbreakers, sweatshirts do fine.
Cruse shipe dress is as any cruise ship ranging from casual to formal etc.
