About time you put those pictures up :)

Looks like you had nice weather everywhere.

How come so many pictures of that Belly Dancer in green !!!
( You don't have to answer that )

Also you missed taking a picture of ALL five windmills in Mykonos.!!( :) )
( I will e-mail you a picture I took of the five windmills ( of course I am in the picture also ).

I like the picture you took from the five windmills looking back to "Little Venice".

Were you in Ephesus Turkey ? . That looks like Mary's Chapel in the background.

You are standing in front of The Thinker statue.
Where was this at.

Merry Christmas to you both.

Thank you. We were in Kusadasi as you saw but did not go to Ephesus again. Sue said NO MORE WALKING! :D so we went to Marys house and to Sirince.

That statue is on the ship actually.

The weather was really nice this yr. We were in some of the same places last yr. during practically the same time of yr. and then it was much cooler. I had to buy a hoodie in Athens last yr. to go under my jacket it was that chilly but this yr. it was way nicer.

Happy holidays to you and happy boxing day too. :-)

Thanks for the pics in Mykonos. So you had a working vacation it seems. :D Us too. We were working off our naughties in the galley. :D

Actually it was a pretty good deal. It was about $160.00 for the two of us which included a nice lunch at Muranos and bear in mind dinner there is $40.00 pp and also included delivery of the Celebrity cook book which is quite big, heavy and goes for $69.00 so all in all it was was practically a wash. :-)

Yes, I was impressed to see you cooking up a storm.

When you retire you can work part time as a Cook on the Cruise ships. :)

I just a got an e-mail from Alla wishing me a Merry Christmas and all the Best for the New Year.

She also gave me the link to her Facebook and said she posted two pictures of me and my group that I had sent her several years ago.

here is the link .... scroll ..down a bit and that is us having a beer at the Winter Palace and ..

the other pictures is our Tour Guide Julia and me ( yellow shirt) by the Narva Arch Monument

For a guy who does not do Facebook....I wound up on Facebook !!!!

Cooking up a storm?!? Most apt :D Actually the real chefs bailed me out.

I saw your pics and yes U did make it to fb. I'm on there BTW.

I do wish I could be a nurse on a cruise ship when I retire but that's a dream. I could not do nor would want to do more than part time, a fill in here and there but I don't think that's possible.

Got any cruises planned? It seems highly likely our next trip is India next fall. The last niece who is not married is getting hitched so we must go. We were just talking today about the logistics. We like the idea of going to Kuala Lumpur, stay overnight, then to Delhi, then staying in KL,on the way back for a,week or so. We'll see.

I have a Facebook Account with three people on it.

Two of them are in Palm Springs right now.

I took a Facebook Course, so I had to sign up for the account.

I go to Facebook about once every 6 weeks !!

I was surprised Alla put me on Facebook.

I have several places I am thinking about next year.

I think it is a good experience to do the Chef cooking like you did.

Eschew Dec 22nd, 2012 12:55 PM

Percy, Facebook courses? Where do you take that?

You should tag the people on your pictures .... :)

I am removing all my pictures from webshot. Smile bought them out and messed everything up. All my old webshot link are dead. I am moving to Flickr or Picasa. Any suggestions?

jacketwatch Dec 22nd, 2012 01:44 PM

Yes. Post real pic of yourself so we can see you. Somewhere, anywhere. :D

Percy Dec 22nd, 2012 03:12 PM

Sorry Eschew I have no suggestions as I have never used Picasa or Flickr.

But I have viewed other's pictures on Picasa.

I used to post pictures on the Kodak Gallery several years back , then I lost all the Albums and never got around to ever posting pictures again.

That is why I was surprised when Alla e-mailed me Christmas Greetings and said she told me she put two of the pictures I sent here several years ago, on her Facebook website !!

I took a two week Facebook course , a total of 12 hours.

I learned about it and decided it was not my thing.

Heck you have to have friends to be on Facebook :)

I have no high school friends, uncles, aunts , old girlfriends, ex wives etc that I want to be in contact with :)

Rather I am still hiding from some of my old girlfriends.!!!!!

I have found pbase.com to be very good when I have had to view research pictures posted by someone else.

Eschew Dec 23rd, 2012 07:40 PM

I got an email from Alla as well. She has her own facebook page and I think she wants people to post their pictures on her page ... sort of endorsements by happy customers.

I have lost touch with all my grade 12 friends (except for 1) and I do not have any university friends as I fast tracked my studies by taking 7 to 8 courses each term plus taking spring and summer classes to finish my first full degreee (120 credits) within two calendar years. Really didn't have time to get to know anyone as I really didn't have anyone in the same class as me more than once.

Too old to have any living uncles or aunts, too lazy to write letters back then to stay in touch with other family members or childhood friends; moved away to University at a young age, and being a rebel, stayed away from the siblings and other relatives.

All I have are acquiantances and I don't think they care enough to know what the heck I'm up to ... So there you have it, I am in the same boat as you!
