Other Cruise Boards
 

In addition to this board, I am aware of CruiseCritics. However, there the topics are so minutely divided that getting a broad interest topic -- reading something that merely sparks an interest hetherto unknown -- is impossible.

Are there other cruise discussion boards out there?

www.cruisefools.com is a new board, my favorite because there is also a lot of off-topic chat. As I'm sure you know many people are unhappy with the moderation at cruise critic, this board is made from a lot of former cruise critic hosts and members.

and another new board is www.cruiselineforums.com

on both of those boards you will find plenty of cruisers from cruise critic and new ones too.

The most comprehensive board IMO is cruiseclues.com. The is a lot of information there but you pick and choose how much or how little you want.

Please note that both of my suggestions are small knit communities. Please do not go there to start trolling. It is meant to be a fun place:)

Thank you all for your wonderful answers. Things have been so crazy busy that although I read all your answers last week, I'm just now getting to register & put these into my favorites/cruise directory.

Traveinwifey, promise I'm not a troll -- just have plane tickets originally for New Orleans in Oct & now must reschudule, so thinking cruise out of FL as an easy early spring option. And knowing the damage trolls have done on Fodors in the past & other boards, no offense is taken with from your post.

Hi MHS, I'm actually in Hawaii now ((r)) and just stopped by the boards:) I did not mean you personally in the post. As you may have noticed on that site there is a rather heated political debate and I was just hoping anyone reading y message would not create a troll identity to stir up problems. I think it isn't right for administration to start a post like that anyways......too much fighting among members.

But anyhoo, hope you found a new cruise site you like and happy sailings:)
