Have a good nap amigo. I wish I could give you the homemade cough syrup my old grandfather used to make. It had honey, dissolved cough drops and a wee bit of Hennesey. Beats Robitussin. :D

Jacketwatch - my dad swore by Fishermans Friend. I can't see a package of those now without smiling and remembering dad. Percy maybe he had something there. He was like the father in Big Fat Greek Wedding - no windex just gargle with salt and have a fishermans friend - they fix all!!

Yep those old remedies bring back a lot of memories.

I think we all got better because of Mom's loving care also....

I can still smell the Vicks she used to rub on me !

Well ,let me see I have at home
((i))
1. Honey
2.Cough drops ( Halls)
3. And I am loking at a bottle of Hennesey right now !!!

...look , I know how to mix these three, you just need more Hennesey than honey or cough drops . :)

I'll let you know how I am doing when the bottle is empty ((D))

Everytime I cruise I have my table waiter put a bottle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table. I use that with my bread instead of butter.

Just came back from Vision of the Seas, and was smiling each time I saw the olive oil bottle on the counter :)
