We have booked a cruise for 2008 on Insignia. Cabin grade is A2 which is the concierge level. Anyone any experience of this grade. many thanks

We have heard this line has an older clientele 50+. Is this true, and would someone younger be bored?

WOW are they still in business? Back in 2004 poster "manycruiser" said he doubted if they would last out the year....so he must have been wrong eh?

Well Curt, we hear that not only are they still around but making very healthy profits. Rumours are circulating that RCI are trying to buy them. Watch this space.

We just returned from the Insignia and we were in cabin grade A3 which is also the concierge level. As far as I know the difference between concierge level and regular balcony cabins was that you will have a bottle of champagne in your stateroom, cashmere lap robes, a mini-fridge and priority embarkation. In addition you will have the opportunity to make 2 reservations in each of the specialty restaurants while people in the stateroom level cabins can make 1 reservation in each. This is not to say that they wouldn't be able to use the specialty restaurants more than once, only that it would depend on availability.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have more questions.
