Nov. cruise- Greek Islands, Rome Venice--what clothing to pack for daytime?
This is our first cruise to the Mediterranean/Aegean Sea. It's a 14 day cruise that begins in Athens the end of October.
We have been to both Rome and Venice in October/November where leggings and boots kept me warm on cool/rainy days. I was wondering if the Greek Islands are usually warmer and sunnier then these two cities at the same time of year? Our cruise starts the day the clocks in Europe "fall back" --no more daylight saving time
I know I'll be layering but wondering if I should plan for more of the lighter weight fabrics and colors or my typical autumn travel style of darker colors and favorite ankle boots. I'll be watching the forecast a couple of weeks before we leave but I'd like to have an idea what summer clothes, if any, I might want to set aside right now. For me, evening wear on the ship will be simple to plan compared to daytime attire.
Thanks for sharing any suggestions that will help me put together my cruise wardrobe. Deborah
