Norwegian Fjord cruise room choic

We are planning to book the 7 day Norwegian Fjord Cruise in May, 2017. We wonder if we should book a Balcony, or Ocean front or just inside cabins.

Knowing the weather would be cold/rainy, and we would be out about all day, just wonder if we would ever make use of the balcony.

Thank you

Similar to cruising the Alaska fjords, a balcony is preferred to view in comfort.

We love having a balcony when we can afford it.
Room service coffee and breakfast in the morning, wine as we get ready for dinner.

Definitely a balcony. However, if the balcony is twice as much as the OV, then I can live with the oceanview, not so much with an inside. We cruised Norway in May. The weather changed very quickly. It was cool and cloudy in the mornings, some rain and then in the afternoon it cleared up and it was beautiful. Norway is stunning.

Definitely a balcony unless you are prepared to fight for a place at the rail and are prepared to stand for periods of time. Much nicer to sit in comfort on your balcony and see the magnificent scenery.

What cruise line? Hurtigruten Trollfjord had lots of piblic spaces for viewing, never a problem.

We are also cruising in May, arriving Copenhagen three days before, then train to Stockholm for a few days, then head home.

Would you please give us some tips on which excursion to take, or what to pack for the weather.

I hope we get to sit in the balcony to enjoy the fjords!

As for clothing think layers and have something water proof for your exterior layer.
