No Mexico ports?

I've heard, some cruises cancelled Mexico ports. Where can I read more? I checked RCL and Princess, didn't see anything there.

I think cruisin_tigger meant www.cruisecritic.com Their home page has an article about what changes each cruise line has made.

What can I say... some day I will learn to navigate CruiseCritic :) I went to forums missing the main page.

On the West Coast, some ships go to San Francisco instead of Mexico. Have they warned the passengers? Imagine dreaming of a hot beach... and end up in a cold, foggy, maybe rainy San Francisco!

If any passengers made pre-paid arrangements with the local tour guides not through the ship, are those refunded, or the money are lost?

Were the passengers told to bring jackets instead of swimsuits?

Our itinerary was changed on our recent Mexican cruise. They dropped Zihuatanejo (drug war problems) and we went to Manzanillo instead. We had booked a ship's tour in Zihuat and it was fully refunded (deducted from our statement). Don't know if people would be as lucky getting refunds from private guides.

I just posted on my old Acapulco thread and noted that Princess is giving passengers 50% off their next cruise for both the Star (the ship we were on) and the Sapphire, both were Mexican Riviera cruises which had to be diverted to California coast. I thought that was fair, since obviously the health risk was no fault of Princess.
