Nile Cruise

Has anyone taken a Nile cruise on Sonesta St. George I? When? Was it a good experience?
Thanks.

you might check on www.cruisecritic.com if you do not get any/many responses.

Thanks, Charli. I've tried that, but no luck.

Go to anwers.yahoo.com and search by name. There is an answer to every question there.

I see what you mean, samcat, nothing. I looked at their website and the ship is new and looks gorgeous. What are you concerned about? I did a Nile cruise many years ago (not as nice a boat) and it was fabulous. I would go and enjoy what the Nile has to offer, I can't imagine the boat would be awful being that it is new. The sights, well, those are beyond wonderful and not much can spoil that. Just be careful of what you eat - NO SALAD (regardless of how lovely it looks)or anything uncooked. Sealed bottled water only - no ice. Bring immodium and Bonine or something for nausea just in case. This is true for Egypt in general and not just the boat. Enjoy.

We had similar Nile cruise questions in 2001 before we went - try posting on Africa/Middle East rather than cruise forum - we got more answers there.

Thanks, Charli, you have encouraged me greatly. Maybe we'll just give it a try!
Gail, thanks for your comment, too.
