Hi Everyone,

We are a family of four. We have been thinking of taking a cruise for a long time. This will be our first time. We are thinking of booking our tickets at timelytravels.com . This site was referred to me by a friend. I need to know whether anyone booked their tickets from this site before. What was their experience?.

Also our destination is alaska, so which is a good family friendly cruise line?

Looks like a legit company, BBB gives them A+

I have found dealing directly with the cruise line to be very satisfactory. On a big Alaska trip, did use a travel agent, but could have done as well myself.

Most of the cruise lnes are family friendly these days, even HAL(gulp!). First question: How old are the children? Second question: When do you want to go?

By the way, Disnet announced that they will have a ship for Alaska for 2011 to capture the "youth" market.

Thanks Everyone for your response. We have finally decided to book on Carnival.
I will be booking from the site timelytravels.com directly itself since they have a very easy booking system. We just need to select a package and they have given all the steps to follow to book the cruise. I think that really saves my time. They also have an agent to whom i can send email in case i have any questions in the booking.
