Need opinions to help pick which cruise!
 

My husband and I are planning a Mediterranean cruise for next summer and have it narrowed down to two choices: 12 day Celebrity Millenium and the 12 day RCCL Brilliance of the Seas - both have almost identical itineraries (Barcelona, Nice, Livorno, Citavecchia, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Venice), except RCCL is roundtrip Barcelona, whereas Millenium embarks in Barcelona and disembarks in Venice. Anyone been on either of these cruises? I've read some old (2002) threads comparing these two ships, but would like some updates.
Any thoughts or suggestions on the ships and or inineraries would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on where you are flying from, the airfare may help you decide. The cost of the round trip Barcelona may be less than the one way to Barcelona and back from Venice. They both sound wonderful though !

I would opt for Celebrity over RCCL. RCCL are know for their small staterooms, plus Celebrity is much more upscale than RCCL.

I would go with Celebrity also.

We did a Mediterranean cruise on Millenium when it was first commissioned. It was great, and I'm sure it's better now after they've worked out all the bugs.

I would go with Celebrity. We're doing the Galaxy in November. ((b))
