NEED HELP CHOOSING SHIP
We are looking good looking to go on a celebrity cruise next October November or December. We are going to the Caribbean. We have been there before but are actually looking for relaxing cruise holiday. We have narrowed it down to three ships. We are looking at the Constellation the Infinity or the Equinox. They are all relatively priced in the same manner. The routes are one is a southern Caribbean and the other is eastern Caribbean. We actually don't care where we go as much as having an enjoyable time on the ship. Any suggestions? We are booking this week. Thank you so much for responding.

Without going into the pros/cons of the itineraries I'd chose the Equinox. Have been on both the Infinity & Connie, these are the older M class ships whereas the Equinox belongs to the newer S class. Have cruised on some of her sister ships, the Solstice, Eclipse and Silhouette and found them much lovelier. Just my 2 cents worth:)!

I agree with above. We have been on the Connie and the Equinox and go with the E. In 2012 we cruised her and we told by the CD that she gets the highest ratings for customer satisfaction of all the X ships and I can see why. The service was the best we have ever had and the ship itself is the best we have ever been on.

Hi-
we love the Solstice class--we've been on both the Solstice (twice) as well as the Equinox to the Caribbean, and found them to be really handsome ships. There are some great, comfy lounge chairs sprinkled throughout the ship, lots of glasswork, and the main dining room is really lovely with lights that change color every night. The glass-blowing demos on the Equinox and Solstice are unique, the lectures interesting and the food is decent. You can't go wrong with the Equinox. - Diana, https://musingaboutcruising.blogspot.com. |
OK, thanks so much I do believe we have decided on the Equinox which is where we were leaning towards. Now I have to choose our rooms. We like to go Concierge Class. Any great suggestions ?

What R your ports?
We did CC once but found it to be no great shakes but its up to you. The binoculars they provide were of low quality BTW. |
Our ports are St. Thomas
Basseterre, Nevis, Bridgetown Barbados, Roseau Dominica and Philipsburg. Any suggestions? |
For excursions I suggest getting private guides. They cost less and you will be in a much smaller vehicle and its more personalized. You can either get one from the dock and there will be many there or just google private guides by the island you will be on. In St. Maarten we used Joyce Prince. Just google it.. We had a nice tour for 5 with really good prices and service.
