NCL Gem private excursions
 

Have set up a private excursion from the NCL Gem to Florence and Pisa on the cruise starting on the 25th October. Need two more people to join in. Is there anyone interested in this much better way to see these places than the cruise ship excursion?
Does anyone know a way of contacting people who might be interested in sharing this excursion.

We are a couple from Montreal and we'll be on the Gem October 25th. We are interested in sharing a private excursion to Florence. Could you tell us more about your private excursion. How many people, cost and type of transport ?

rcha- I wish! I'd love to go again. We did the same thing on the same cruise last year. It was perfect. As a matter of fact, we met people via the cruisecritic site that abram suggested. We hired private drivers at all 3 Italian ports. We split the cost and it was so much cheaper than going through the cruiselines and nicer than being corralled on a bus.
Now we are friends a year later. They were internet strangers before. Dh & I even met up with one of the couples this summer on our vacation. It was a wonderful experience.
