NCL and tipping?

We are considering an NCL Majesty 7 night cruise to Bermuda for next summer. This has the free-style type of dining (which we didn't have a good experience with on a 2 night Princess cruise) and I was wondering how the tipping works. (Don't remember what we did on the Princess - it was a while ago and too short to worry about it) 5 previous cruises we have been on have a suggested amount for the waiter, assistant waiter and head waiter. What is done on a cruise where all these individuals are different each night?

They add total tips to your onboard bill, about $10 per person a day.

Yes, you can put it on your bill, and it will be shared by everybody.

If you want, you can tip a little cash in addition to the charge if you had outstanding service.

We love the tiny, old Majesty and every thing about her. We are very disappointed with her new ports. There are two dining rooms and we much prefer the smaller one. Food is same of course but it is quieter and easy to find. If you have to wait, there are window seats. And there is another, small, free restaurant in the bow (front) near the top of the ship. Forget what deck its on but not every one knows about it. The menu is posted outside each day. It is not the same as the dining room or have as many choices but is very good. Seems to me we had to make a reservation but we set the time. When we tried at the other two we were told reservations could only be made for 5:30 or 9:30! WE last cruised with friends we met on a Princess cruise. If you can find someone to eat with the freestyle isn't as bad. (We hate freestyle but still will put up with it on the Majesty - the ONLY NCL ship we will sail!)
Let me know if you have any questions about the ship [email protected]

thanks for the info!

next question: have to gone to Bermuda on the Majesty? I've been on a Celebrity cruise with one day at St. George and 2 more at Hamilton. Any comments on only going to St. George? We liked being in the middle of things in Hamilton and are a bit hesitant to be out on the end of the island for 3 days. What about 3 days at King's Wharf? Anyone done that?
