I cannot believe some of the questions posed here. People book these -mid expensive trips. WHERE are they booking these that they ask a website? Ask your agent, that's what their job is to do.

Analogy of posting, I have a prescription - BUT I don't call the pharmacist - I post the ? on the Web.
Same mentality

Couldn't agree with you more Nanci! But you know, now we are going to hear posts about how inadequate TA's are! I just don't get it! Jean, either ask your TA or read your brochure! And no people I am not a TA! I am "savvy" enough though to know when spending thousands of dollars to ask the right questions before writing a check.

Re: Nanci

Great analogy, if everyone relied on the public for their advice, there would be no jobs left! Just the thought of the internet taking the place of jobs where people have to earn a living is scary and even scarier is the public demands are becoming unreal. If they dealt with professionals in the 1st place and used common sense, well, I suppose lawyers wouldn't be needed for lawsuits now would they????? The nature of the beast!
ukjean,

I just returned from a trip on the Maasdam. Had a great time! The no-tipping policy was great! I belive the Veendam is a sister ship of the Maasdam.
We didn't stay in a mini-suite, but took a tour of one. I do not believe that the robes were made available. The rooms were spacious with a mini bar and a tv with a vcr. I don't know the dimensions of the room, but it was 'roomy' compared to cabins without a veranda. The bathrooms fit two comfortably.

Kittie

Re/ questions by ukjean and answers by Nanci and Karen-- I sailed on H.A. "Zaandam" in mini-suite,but can't remember whether or not there were robes.I agree with Karen and Nanci re/some of the questions people ask.I once was on the "Horizon" out of San Juan to the southern carb. for a week and there was one guy on board who thought he had been sailing around in the Bahamas all week!Once on the "Destiny"(when it was sailing out of Miami)on the eastern carb. route,a lady complained all week because she thought she was going to Cozumel,Ocho and Grand Cayman! How can people book a trip and not even know where the heck they are going? It can't be the T.A. fault all the time.
