mexican riviera in march?

ok so i'm thinking of booking the norwegian star out of la in mid march. (As an aside i know some people don't like ncl, but i love them it is actually the only cruiseline i will take due to the freestyle - so the star would be my only option for this trip).

Anyone been on the boat or done a different mexican riviera cruise that can tell me if they liked it (we've done 4 all carribean)?

Also how's the weather in March? Are my days at sea going to be cold?

Finally pricing -i have no idea what is a "good deal" for this cruise, i'm looking for a basic inside cabin ,so if anyone has done this and wouldn't mind sharing around what they paid i'd be most greatful!

Thanks so much in advance!

I just did a quick pricing on a website I have used dozens of times.
8days..inside..$599. plus 3 category upgrade...plus some sort of cash bonus.

Compare yours to that one and it will give you some sort of idea.

I haven't sailed Norwegian for many years. Glad to hear you enjoy them.

The 1st one you mentioned was the site I was referring to. The Bonus is only on certain cabins....sorry (not cash, but upgrades).

I don't think we are permitted to list specific agencies, but I have had excellent experience with "the largest cruise agency in the world".

woops, sorry, i didn't know you couldn't "name names".

i have too, i booked the first 3 cruises i went on through them.

and for what it's worth (from your first response cruiser) we really do like ncl. I think some people are put off by the freestyle concept and prefer to have set tables/waiters, etc.. But we would be miserable being told withe the "traditional cruising". I guess there is something for everyone
