Mexican Riviera Cruise - Sapphire Princess or Mariner of the Seas

Hi everyone,

If anyone has been on either ship recently could you please give me the pros and or cons for the above ships? I have never cruised before.

Thanks in advance!

Cindy, check out cruisecritic.com.
You can read reviews of both ships. Very informative. Have a great time!

Both are good bets. Your choice depends on your interests. Mariner is a larger ship with more activities, entertainment, noise, great spa and fitness center, amazing figure skating shows. Princess is more quiet and usually offers better food and service.

I was on the Sapphire recently (2 weeks end of Sept and first of Oct) and service and food were top notch.

It has been awhile since I have been on a RCCL ship so I can't comment.

Sapphire for sure. Beautiful ship.
Lots of common area and don't feel crowded.
