Men's Attire

Can anyone tell me what dressy casual means on the Enchantment for five nights? Is a jacket (for men) necessary?

Siljac Nov 18th, 2003 06:25 PM

Dressy casual means clean looking sporty clothes such as neat shirt and pants. Not worn jeans and wrinkled shirt. No jacket is required. Semi formal means jacket, but a tie is not required. Formal means suit and tie.

we are going on the ncl sky to alaska. do you think a sports coat necessary? would like to eat in main dining room. new to cruising and the freestyle is cunfusing.

NCL has what they call 'optional' formal night which usually means one dining room will be designated formal attire that evening while the other dining venues will be casual. A sport coat is not necessary.

We're going on the Enchantment in August and the guys really don't want to bother with a sport jacket and tie. If they show up in the dining room with dress pants and nice shirts will they be denied service?
