Mediterranean cruise to Istanbul

Leaving San Francisco on July 18 for Istanbul to cruise on the Crown Odyssey to Rome. Would appreciate any info on shore excursions, dress on ship, food, or anything at all. This is my first cruise, so I really need some input. Thanks. <BR>Kay

If you will go back (currently Ques.39 but probably further back by now) you might find some answers to your question. We have just returned from the Med. on the Golden Princess and a lot will apply to you. Glad to help if you have specific questions.
