Mediterranean cruise: Best in Apr/May/June or Sept/Oct ?
 

Which month is best to travel by cruise to the mediterranean?

I did my Med cruise in June and it was really hot, especially along the Italian coast. I'd think about going in May the next time I do this trip. Enjoy! It's a very lovely cruise.

The first week in October is the best IMO

Either the last 2 weeks in May or the middle 2 weeks in Sept...

The Sept weather is normally the best time to do the Med- as the weather is great and there are fewer crowds...

My wife and her friend did this cruise in Sept. last year. She loved it so much that we're going on the same cruise this Sept.

If anyone has information on the Italian train system, it would be appreciated. IE: station stops and train times. I couldn't find detailed information on the net so far.

We''ve done 2 in Sept/Oct.

Lots of benefits in our opinion.

1. Kids are back in school.
2. Prices are cheaper than summer
3. Weather is great!

We did the 1st part of May last year.

It was still hot, but not unbearable, and the crowds were minimal.
