Man overboard on Carnival treads water for 17hrs
 

Just read this in Cruise Critic. That's one heck of a long time to tread water!!

and he's one hell of a lucky guy. most people die when they go overboard

Too bad you didn't provide more details other than referring us to the cruise critic board. <BR><BR>Was that the one where the ship had just entered Tampa bay and it couldn't turn around to find him and they could just throw the life preserver and launch a small boat and call the coast guard?
