? Louis Cruise of Greece

Louis Cruise Line is used by tour companies for Greek Island tours. Need your opinion of them.

Didn`t they have the ship that sunk off the coast of Santorinni, killing 2 tourists?

Yes, and if I remember correctly, the captain fled. Would you trust this company? I know I wouldn't.

As an alternative, look into Star Clippers. They are reasonably priced, luxury small ships and visit many of the small ports that the larger cruise lines cannot visit.

Best Regards,

Aren't Star Clippers masted ships? I do wonder about how steady they are and how much motion ones feels.

I've been on Star Clippers twice in the Caribbean. The captain did all he could to minimize the motion, setting certain sails, using the motors. They have stabilizers, as well. We thought it was fine. If you go to the Greek isles in the summer time, the Mediterranean is usually very very flat. No wind at all! Star Clippers is a great experience.

Our travel agent recently told us that Star Clipper was having some financial difficulties and some of the ships were being siezed. She didn't recommend that we go with them. Has anyone heard anything about that?

We did a transfer for one day on a Louis Cruise Line Ship.
What are your expectations?
If they arent too high, it will be fine.
There were dead plants in the common area and the ships are VERY dated.
Food was okay though. Very plentiful.
