Looking to hear from someone who has been married on a carnival cruise.

I'm thinking of getting married in St. Thomas through carnival. Just want to hear about someone else's experience.

I just read another post or two from you about the same subject. If nobody is responding to one, I guess you think that they might respond if you clog up this board with other similar postings.

Hi Kathryn,

I just got married on the Carnival Triumph not too long ago. Everything went smoothly. We called our TA and she booked our cabins for us and tried to book the wedding for us, but Carnival weddings wanted to talk to us direct. At first I wanted the TA to do everything, but it made sence actually for us to talk to the wedding coordinator ourselves because they had a lot of questions to ask us to make our day special that the TA couldnt answer because well, she is not us!!! The day was great, we just went for the "for the bride and groom" package and it was really romantic. Carnival did such a great job of everything. ONce you talk to the coordinator, it will put all your fears at ease.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for responding. How did your pictures turn out? "Just the Bride and Groom" is what I wanted to do but we have 10 people including us, I don't know why we just can't pay for two extra people. What port did you get married at? Sorry for all the questions but your really the only person that I've heard from about cruise ship weddings.

I just got off the Pride and saw some people who got married. The Pride does have a nice little chapel. The married couple had some pictures made very large (they do them on a hard type of paper) and they cost about $80 each (but they are about 2 feet by 3 feet large).
