London to Reykjavik

Thinking of going on Oceania cruise from London to Reykjavik in September. Has anyone done this trip? How is the weather this time of the year? Did you love it or hate this trip? Is there much to do in Iceland? We are used to the sightseeing in England and Spain; castles and museums. Thanks for any info you can give us.

There is a LOT to do in Iceland -- but not sure if I'd want to be on the North Atlantic in September. It might be fine but if there are storms the ship will have to divert around them.

In fact - if it was me I wouldn't do that cruise at any time (but that is just me). I'd fly from the UK to Reykjavik.

But for more info specifically about things to do in Iceland you might want to post over on the Europe forum. I've only done a short 2 day layover in Reykjavik flying to London but there are some Iceland experts who will more likely see your post on the Europe board.
