Limo Service
 

Need a reliable limo service to pick us up at the port (Civitavecchia) and take us to our hotel in Rome. Last year our limo never showed up and after waiting 3hours we were lucky to find transportation to Rome, great way to end a trip.

Should have used the train -- always runs.

There is a train from Civitavecchia to Rome. They run frequently all day long. You can then get a taxi outside the station to take you to your hotel.

I think the OP knows about the train but prefes a limo. Wish I could help. Good luck. You may want to try posting on cruisecritic.com under the ports boards. Alternatively what about a cab? There are usually plenty there. Cheers, Larry :-)

This company is excellent. Found them through recommendations on cruise critic. Used them for a tour but they are taxi/limo service as well. http://www.romecabs.com/

The limo service we have used for touring and I assume they would pick you up at the port is ROMEINLIMO.....great service

If you want a limo, another way is to contact your hotel. They almost always have a limo company that they use for their guests. They will arrange the transportation for you.

I used a limo service when arriving in Rome that was very good. We set up trips while in Rome, were picked up from the airport, and then from our Hotel to the ship the day we departed on our cruise. All went well and we enjoyed their service.
