Bon Voyage,as I know you are leaving soon for India.
Have a great time and and on your way back, don't worry about your stay in Hong Kong.
I have arranged for the police to pick you up at the airport.
Call me when the bail is set. !!!
Take care

Hi Percy
My brother is trying to talk me into joining them on HAL cruise from Singapore via Kobe back to Vancouver. Its a little too long for me to be away - I think around 35 days so I'm considering going with my friend to travel around the British Isles and try out a new (to me) but older line that does the England, Scotland and Ireland as well. I don't know anyone who has traveled with them but they seem to have a loyal following - Fred Olsen Lines. A couple of their ships are the old (but refurbished) Royal Viking ships. They used to come into Vancouver and were a little more upscale in those days than Princess and HAL. We will get an idea of where we would like to spend some extra time when we disembark. So far thats it.
Sounds like you are going to have quite a busy year. I really hope that your surgeries go well. You won't let that get in your way for sure - you certainly didn't on your Safari!!
Enjoy and keep me posted.

Well, I don't do twitter, nor facebook, nor Youtube unless a poster directs me to youtube for a special reason.
I did watch Susan Boyles on Youtube.
I don't do iPod ,or iPhone or iPad
I like to keep life simple !
I don't think jacketwatch goes to the Fodors Lounge or else I would have posted there for him ...to wish him luck on his trip.

Hi Percy. Actually we left for India/HK on Oct. 17th. and returned Nov. 12th. All went well though if you look my name up you will see a post in the Asia forum inre to a very "suspicious" incident that happened to us in the Mansingh Palace hotel in Ajmer. Beyond that all was well and thank God no one became sick. Thats a big plus for us when going to India. The highlight of our trip was a 4 day stop in HK on our return. We loved it there and wish we had alloted more time. I hope your hands are improving. It must be difficult to type but I hope the surgery leads to a satisfactory recovery. I did see you reply inre to Alexandria and it gives me pause to think of going to Cairo due to the traffic. My wife gets car sick in bad traffic so we will have to think about it. A greek island cruise is also possible. We'll see but I am sure we will go where the "boss" wants to go. . You know how it is. Take care. Larry
