Infinity - Alaska

Just wondering how 'formal' the formal attire nights really are ?
Thanks.

Celebrity is known for its formal nights. You will see many tuxedos/black suits and ladies in long dresses.

At our table for 8 a few years ago (to Alaska), there were two dark suits, one blue blazer with white shirt and tie, and one gray sport coat with a black shirt and tie. No one seemed out of place...a few other sport coats, a number of blazers, and the dark suits outnumbered the tuxes. Ladies tended to be more formal.

We sailed Celebrity now twice.
Once to Mexico Riviera (sept. 2004) and once to Hawaii (April 06).
On all formal nights all men on our 8-persons table wore tuxedos......

We just sailed the Infinity to Alaska, and my husband wore his dark suit on formal night, and I wore a long dark silk skirt with a silk blouse one night and a fancier pantsuit on another evening, and we felt perfectly comfortable. Have a great cruise!
