I am going on the $14 EASY CRUISE....anyone else?

I got that Travel Zoo email and booked $14 7 night trip! Using FF airline miles, my cruise will cost $50! Ok, plus food, hotel night in St. Lucia on the front-Coco Palm, (NEW)and a hotel night in Miami coming out. (Priceline?)

Did anyone else jump on board?

I have never cruised but have always wanted to see St. Lucia, Barbados, Martinque...
This will be my budget trip to scope it out, and see if dh and I will want to go
back on a more lux trip! I am going on an
adventure!

Any other Easy Cruisers?

BK:

I'm very curious about the Easy Cruise experience. Please come back and let us know what you thought!

I will triathlete. I am going to keep an open mind and plan for and adventure! My $50 trip will probably cost me $600-800 depending on how expensive food is.

have you raced kona? IM?

Nope. Finishing IM Wisconsin last year was my biggest accomplishment to date. Registered for Placid '06. MIGHT enter the lottery for Kona in the spring this year if I'm feeling cocky (but probably not).

Do you race?

No, but it's on my "to do list"...lol...I admire you for finishing!

Most memorable moment of my life was being on Palani hill,in Kona-helicopters over head following a male leader who was about to leave the Queen K...I had no idea who survived the Energy Lab! It was 2001 and American Pride was visable everywhere in Kona...9/11 was three weeks behind us....around the corner strides Tim DeBoom....wow
I admit I shed a few tears! I missed him coming across the line, I didn't realize the loop through town was short that year. :( It looked good on NBC and I even saw myself on TV when Natasha finished!

I have been to IM in Kona three times, even if you don't race, it's a magical and powerful place! I took my husband in 2003 (finally!) and he was blown away by the positive, emotional energy that resides on Ali drive.

P.s. Enter the lottery if you are fit and financially able! The Big Island is a great place. We're going back next year for IM (unless I spend too much this year on trips!)
