How much spending money on a 12 day Mediterranean cruise?
 

I am looking at the 12 day Mediterranean cruise from Celebrity cruise lines. How much spending money should I budget for my husband and I?
Would $1500 be enough for spending money and tours?

never mind, I just realized that on excursions alone, we will spend $900. So hopefully $600 is enough for spending money.

Are you doing the ship sponsered excursions? If so you may want to consider doing them on your own. You will save hundreds and have more money for other activities. How many excursions are you planning on?

I think you will save money doing all the excursions on your own and you may like it more because you will have your own cab and be on your own time. There will be plently of cabs and private tour operators on the pier just waiting to be hired. Simply do some research to see what you want to go to and hire a cabbie when you disembark. It'll be safe. However of course it is up to you and what you are comfortable with. Bon voyage!
