Holland Bike and Barge Tour
 

My sister and I are considering a bike a barge tour in Holland. This is relatively new to me so I'm wondering if anyone has comments on taking a similar trip or suggestions on who to book with. We would like to do this as economically as possible.

We booked a self-guided bike tour last summer along the Danube (Germany/Austria) through an American distributor called Bike Tours Direct (www.biketoursdirect.com). It was much more economical than the typical American outfits that charge a huge premium for the pampering they offer. They offer a wide range of tours including bike/barge tours in Holland, which is what we are strongly considering for this coming summer.

I'm thinking of taking the same holland barge bike tour. Has anyone taken this tour that can give me an idea of what it was like? accomodations? food? class of service? anything to add?
