Holland & America from UK

We recently made an enquiry to Vacationstogo for a Caribbean cruise with Holland & America. We received the following response:

"Unfortunately, Celebrity, Costa, Cunard, Holland America, MSC, Oceania, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Star Clippers now prohibit all U.S. travel agencies (including Vacations To Go) from selling cruises to citizens of countries other than the United States and Canada, unless they have a residence in the U.S. or Canada".

Does anyone know if all US based agents are in this situation? In any case, are there any UK based cruise specialist agencies who offer discounted cruises? We know the price that H & A are offering through their website but would like to improve on this to maybe get a better level of stateroom.

We've only cruised once before and booked through Vacationstogo a couple of years ago.

My agent Alex of cruise.com books a lot of cruises for international clients, e-mail [email protected]. Tell him spurs sent you.

Lifeman: I would like to know if you could be helped as I am in the same situation?

Hi there Henda. Yes, Alex the lady at cruise.com has come up with a very good price for us. There appears to be no problem with booking us from the UK. I wonder why vacationstogo couldn't do it?
