Help us decide on an itinerary for river cruise
My husband and I are thinking of booking a river cruise in 2015, probably towards the end of September. Looked at Uniworld but it seems to be way more expensive than Viking, is it that much better?
From your experiences what is the best 10 day river cruise to take. Looking at France, Northern or Southern, or doing Rhine or the one to Budapest including Croatia. I'm sure they're all good, just wondering which one is the most interesting.

We were very happy with Viking and would probably not spend an extra thousand on a different line. We went from Budapest to Bucharest and while it was interesting a different itinerary would likely be better.

I have done Uniworld 4 times.
I have done the Bucharest to Vienna and found it very nice and different from the Amsterdam to Vienna which I did last year.
Uniworld might be more expensive but all your tours and gratuities are includes,as are all your drinks with all meals.
Their off shore excursions are all very good.
Last month I just did their "Tulips and Windmills" excursion from Brussels to Amsterdam for 12 days.
We got to spend a full day at the wonderful Kuekenhof Gardens.
( The Tulip Gardens)
Everything was fabulous.
