Help! Affordability?

I love to travel and have a honest question?
I'm just curious how many people just go ahead and charge there cruises? I'm looking into a vacation and we are considering taking a cruise. Prices are so steep.Espcially when you add the airfare on top. I love to travel, don't have children, but find it hard to save for a vacation. Just curious how many people actually save for there cruise or just put in on the charge? It's so tempting to do.
I often book a cruise 6-9 months ahead and then save for that cruise. I find it easier to save if I have a date and a ship to look forward to.

Before I leave for the cruise, it is paid for.

Carnival has a time-pay program that is not that expensive, depending on your credit. This way you will not have to wait and save-up for your cruise.

Paul

Did you post this question on each board? The school is out, can't be a project... is this some kind of a survey? Or you need help with summer school?

i put my cruises on my discover card. getting 1 percent back at the end of the year adds up quick.

No I'm 30 something yrs old and this is not a survey Faina. I'm serious and we have been looking into cruising. Actually a few vacations but they are pricey. Which makes you wonder when/how people plan and or save for there vacations. I do appreciate all the tips and advice everyone has given...
