Greek Islands Cruises

I'm looking into cruise lines that offer cruises to the Greek Islands. Does anyone know which offer the best itinerary? Has anyone ever tried one? Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

Hi Laura,

The only well-respected cruise line is Royal Olympic. They know what, where and how of the islands. They have been sailing them for years.

Paul

Windstar, Radisson and Silver Seas cruises all stop at some popular islands.

Orient Lines has one that includes Greece and Turkey. I actually enjoyed the portion in Turkey more than Greece!

My husbnad and I took the 7 day Orient Cruise to Greek Islands and Turkey. The ship, even though smaller than what we were used to, was just right. We went in late September, and the weather was great!

But -- how to choose between Windstar and Orient for very small and very casual?

We *would* like a nice cabin with an outside balcony...

Decisions, decisons...

Laura- We did WIndsurf from ROme to NIce and LOVED It. I know WIndstar does the greek islands and better than Royal Olympic(which gives you 1/2 day in each port and makes you go to 2 ports in 1 day) , Windstar goes to 1 port per day. The ships are great-casual elegant BUT NO BALCONIES. But the ports are terrific.
