Greek Island Cruise Ships
 

In various places, Im reading horrid reviews of the Louis Line ships that cruise around the Greek Islands. Has anyone taken a cruise w/ them recently on any of the boats? Are they as bad as Im reading? Please post any comments!!! I'll also post this in the cruise section! Thanks!

I'm scheduled to take a trip w/ the Louis Line...what have you heard?!

Ciaobella.....horrid conditions. Dirty cabins, not being able to flush the toilets, not having reservations honored, bad food etc etc. I"ve read this on several bbs and Im getting worried. I really really want to do a 7 day of the islands so Im hoping the things I'm hearing are not true!!! I was hoping to book directly w/ the line after doing a 3 week tour of the main land. I sure hope things are not this bad!!!!

We are scheduled to be on the Pantheon. Any feedback? ((R))

If you can, cancel!! That cruise line is horrible!! I can't believe they are still in business---probably barely holding on!

Your trip will be ruined if you are on a terrible ship.

Unfortunately I want to see just the Greek Islands: Mykonos, Santorini. Rhodes, Patmos and Crete. I'm already doing a 3 week land tour which was also difficult to find as I wanted to go north up to Thessalonika. Not many tours do that route AND take their time!

This is my 2nd try at Greece and I finally just give up last time. I never seem to be able to find just the right itinery. I dont want to spend more than a day on the islands...just see the sites and move on. But boy do they make it hard to do that.

I'm going to contact Homeric and Apollo and see if I fly from island to island and stay in hotels if that is possible cost wise. I also want to see Delos so spending 3 days on Mykonos would be a good idea.

I would just take off and wing it, but my son just returned and had a lot of problems getting from island to island due to the ferries and the weather etc. I plan on a May trip so thats not quite summer and the waters may be rough then as well.

Anyway...thanks for the feedback!!!
