I don’t think that I have to prove anything regarding my comments; I just added my personal experience as you also did without any other prove. I don’t like to be anybody’s advertiser. your opinion and experience is respectable.

We actually paid $100 extra per person for one of these smelly rooms.

We guess yachting's room did not smell badly. Maybe next summer it will and THEN they will understand what it is like to have nowhere to go to escape the smell except the tiny lounge area at night. Maybe the problem has been fixed.

"A cruise ship is not simply a method of getting somewhere. A cruise ship is a destination in itself." (author unknown) Be choosy. Do your homework and maybe, just maybe, you will not have this type of experience. The internet is a great place to start.

I truly believe one can best rate a cruise adventure by how well the cruise line responds to its failings. Please post any other response that some of the passengers may have gotten. Did everyone get the same "canned" response? We really like one of the trips that Nexus Cruise and Yachts has on their website. Is that the same outfit?

Does anyone know if Viking Cruises and Nexus Cruises have cleaned up their act on the H&B? Recommendations on their website appear to have been "cherry" picked from ratings sheets - perhaps?

Hello everybody,
I am so upset. My daughter is on a university excursion
lasting 31 days. Until the cruising part of her trip everything was wonderful. Once abroad the H&B everything became horrific.
Smelly,dirty,and more. The boat was actually over 8 hours late in collecting them at the pier. 30 students plus 2 professors and 2 guides...waiting for them to arrive and ready the boat.
Almost all the islands they were supposed to visit they have not...all they get is ridiculous excuses. Some of the girls and boys stayed in local hotels at their added expense. My daughter stuck it out due to financial reasons. This is simply NOT acceptable. I want all of you to be aware of this. This trip for us is a big investment in our daughters education. We did not send her here to be exploited. Beware! Completely unacceptable. Had I received the itinerary prior to her departure I might have not let her go.
Or at least made a "STINK" (pun intended) About the cruise/boat they were to cruise on. I trusted the University's judgement. If you are attending any college or University you would think the ones in charge of studies abroad would have a handle on the conditions the youths will be experiencing. TERRIBLE! What bad business practices...from what I have read this is not a new situation.
