Grandeur of the Seas?
The reviews for this ship are old. Can anyone offer an updated view of this ship? We're considering joining a group of friends on a 4-day cruise in December '08 out of Tampa.
Thank you! |
The Grandeur was my first cruise 10 years ago. I imagine she's showing some age and hasn't been stretched and upgraded like her sister, the Enchantment. However, for short cruises it's a much nicer ship than the smaller class and better than the tubs Carnival uses for short cruises. December is a cheap time to cruise, have you looked at the Navigator?

Thank you.
The rest of the group has already booked the cruise so if we're going to go, we're committed to this boat. I'm afraid my first cruise might not be on a very good ship and it'll turn me off forever. Cruises seem to be one of those things people absolutely love or absolutely despise.. |
I think you'll enjoy it, especially with a group! Short cruises leave you wishing you had more days. We travel to Europe every year, take many excursions, but always cruise once a year! We love Royal Caribbean and have many perks after sailing them so often. It's a pretty ship and you'll have a great time!!

We took Grandeur 8 years ago for our 50th Wedding Anniv. with all our kids and grandkids. Wonderful time. And this April 0f 2008 we took another cruise to the Caribbean on the same ship. We did see a bit of wear, but it still provided the good times and good waiters who joined in the fun. You will love the cruise and not want to get off the ship.
