Hi Barbara, didn't stay in that suite-I perfer inside cabins, but have been on the Grand twice. A wonderfully large ship. Will take you a week to find everything. Great pools and large open areas. A floating city. If you haven't been on a big ship, and I do mean BIG you will really enjoy this. It doesn't have the closeness found on a smaller ship-you rarely see anyone twice! A lot of people don't show up for dinner which is sad, was nicer when they didn't have this open seating, at least I thought so. Enjoy-you will have a great time.

Hello Barbara - we took the Grand across the Atlantic a couple of years ago. We stayed in a Mini-suite but wanted to upgrade. We turned out an upgrade to a Vista because our travel agent said the view was listed as 'partially obscured'. At the end of the cruise, we looked in the suite in question and wished we had accepted the upgrade! The balconey is large enough that the view is great! Also, the suites have MUCH larger and nicer bathrooms. That said, we loved the trip - you'll like the suite and the ship I'm sure. Have a great time!

Stayed in vs suite Oct 2001. FANTASTIC.<BR>Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, separate toliet area. Wet bar came with comp starter setup, daily treats in afternoon. Giant balcony, and we loved the aft end of ship. The wake was a pleasant sound.
