Grand Princess June 7, 1999
 

My fiance and I are sailing on the Grand Princess for our honeymoon thru the Mediterranean and the Adriatic. We are concerned about our safety, because of the war in Kosovo. Prime areas of concern are the Adriatic Sea, Greece and Turkey. Is anyone else sailing this cruise or have any tips/advice/warnings about this cruise? Thank you in advance for the information.

Hi, <BR>We are going on that cruise, but at the end of August.I also was concerned,so I called Princess. They told me the US Gov. hadn't made any rec. that Princess change their itin. There is an 800 number for Princess(which I threw away), so maybe you should call them and ask what the latest is. I hope you enjoy yourself if you go. <BR>Elsa

We are going on this cruise in aug. I was also concerned about the political situation, so I called Princess Cruise Lines. They have an 800 #,but I threw it away. I'm sure information can give it to you. The person I spoke to said the US Gov. hasn't issued any warnings, so they were not going to change their itin.
