Glacier Bay vs. Hubbard Glacier?

We're first-time cruisers looking into an Alaska cruise for this summer. In choosing an itinerary, we have a choice between one that includes Glacier Bay versus one that includes Hubbard Glacier. Is GB superior? I'd appreciate any feedback. BTW, we are deciding between Holland America and Princes Lines. Thanks for any input!

Hello, if you type in this same header in the search function on the US board you will pull up the same question I asked a few months ago:) In short, the answer was Glacier Bay. We did Princess last year (great) and are trying HAL this August.

Thanks for the input. I just assumed the "cruises" board would be the place to post. I'll check the US board for that thread!

Glacier Bay!

I have sailed all three glacier areas and my preference is Glacier Bay. But you also need to consider several factors, ports, time in ports, glacier, route, price. Budget fully for costly excursions. If considering a one way- add another week for interior touring, take advantage of being all the way there, it's a waste to just "pass through".
