Getting married on-board Princess Sapphire. Looking for relavent experiance

My fiance and I are planning to be married on-board the Princess Sapphire cruise/Mexican Riveria in January 2009. Our dealings with the wedding coordinators for Princess Cruise Line has caused us concern. During the early stages of our planning it was like pulling teeth to get information on details we had questions about.....but have been consistantly reassured that they have our special day as their personal vow to be a great experiance. As we called the other day to fine tone some small, but important details, my finance was put on hold no less than 15 times by the agent he was speaking to. They were unable to answer questions pertaining to what type of wine we could choose from or how we would go about making arrangements to have welcome champagne delivered to the rooms of our guests .All the while, a recording plays, noting their wedding planning department has over 50 years of combined experiance to assure a wonderful occasion. Hmmmmmm? Either of us have any form of wedding jitters but the experiance we've had with the wedding planners is seriously concerning. We have been unable to get any information on peoples experiances that have been married on board a cruise thus far and would love to heard from you if you have any advise or stories you'd like to share.

Have no personal experience but so far, this does NOT sound good.

Your might spread your query around to get more replies. Sign up (free) at www.cruisecritic.com
and post under the Princess cruiseline section. Others might have been married on-board & can help you.

Put on hold at least 15 times during one phone call? Have you tried speaking to someone else?

On Cruise Critic there is a board for weddings and honeymoons - you'll get a lot of help there.
