I was wondering if anyone has booked this cruise? There are wonderful ports and I have contacted some private guides that have good reputations. Now I need 4 to 6 people to share the tours. If you are interested, respond here, or email me at [email protected].

Oh yes, I use CruiseCritics too! But it's not an active thread yet (this particular cruise) and I always check out Fodor's and Cruisemates to see if there are any other people booking this trip. I am particularly interested in sharing private tours -epecially in Instanbul - and haven't found anyone yet willing to take anything but ship tours.

We booked this trip last year hoping to go to Istanbul. Our itinerary was changed but, while we didn't get to Turkey, we had a wonderful trip. Because Celebrity canceled Istanbul very early and other ships went there, we decided to try again this year but are going on Crystal.
While we can't join you, I am also trying to arrange private tours in Istanbul and Ephesus and would be grateful for any info you have. I may have the same as I have searched other boards. We used several private guides last year and can recommend in Rome if you don't have someone. I would not recommend the others we used.
I hope you get the itinerary you have scheduled and enjoy your trip as much aw we did. This is our 4th Med cruise and we can't wait.

Gosh, I finally got an answer and I have to reply that we have cancelled this cruise after all.

Have a great time on Crystal - I've heard glowing reports about that cruiseline.
