I have not been on the NG Endeavour but was recently on the Galapagos Explorer II. very happy with everything. You can see my trip report here here.

I have been told that the NG charges a bit more as it has the "brand". Other option would be Celebrity Xpedition. There are smaller baots but they will not have similar amenities or service.

Question: ages and physical condition of the grand daughter and the grand mother. It could be important if you want maximum enjoyment and get the most out of it.
