Forums Newsletter: Would you sign-up?
Hello everybody---happy Wednesday.
We've been thinking here about adding another newsletter to our offerings; we currently send out a weekly Fodor's Newsletter every Thursday.
My question: if we were to offer a Community newsletter---a newsletter that pointed to great trip reports, lively travel discussions, and new user reviews---would you be likely to sign up for it? I envision a newsletter that will quickly "catch-up" users who maybe don't check in everyday. I'd also like a chance to highlight community happenings---for instance a GTG alert/mini report.
What's the barometer of interest from folks here?
If interested, would you be most likely to sign up for a newsletter that you received monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly?
I'm thinking that bi-weekly might be the best. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I have never seen this weekly newletter.
How do we access the newsletter.?
Does it come inour e-mail ?
Give some example of what the news letter would contain.
If shillmac gave a good trip report in Costa Rica ( which she always does) how would you point us to her trip trip report location.
How would it differ from what we are accessing now?
Thank You
Percy

This particular "digest" would be sent out every other week and would just include a "snapshot" of different interesting conversations going on the forums. It would perhaps categorize the threads by things like: tips, trip reports, itineraries, fun threads, family travel, holiday travel, gtgs...etc.

I have just signed up for the newsletter. I like the discussion thread but don't always remember to check it out. with a regular newsletter hitting my in-box I will be more likely to hit the website and dream of new exotic destinations! I like your site!
