Formal Wear on Mexican Cruise?
Help! We're taking a 7-day cruise on Sapphire Princess to Mexican Riviers. We're taking the "Personal Choice" dining options and not dining in the traditional dining room. There are 2 formal nights. Do we still have to have formal dress if we dine in the alternate restaurants???

Ultimately its a personal choice (no pun intended) but on Formal nights it's not supposed to be just for dinner. While many people will still dress casually most people stay dressed up for the full evening enjoying the bars and entertainment. So, you don't have to dress up by why wouldn't you? It's fun to get dressed up every once in a while. No need to wear a tux, any nice suit will do.

We did the Diamond Mexican Riviera earlier this year. Yes, you still have to dress for the alternative restaurants but a tux is not needed. As mentioned above, a suit will do. We even saw a few men get away with a dinner jacket alone, but that was only one ot two people.
You mught want to check out www.cruisecritic.com and the Princess message boards as well as the roll call threads to meet some fellow passengers. |
hiii,it depends on your choice,if you wished to change the dress at night then its good, but if you want to wore the dress which you wore in the evening then it also not matters.

vinegarwoman, why are you dredging up 6-year-old threads? This is bizarre.
