Excursions/Tours???

I am going on a 12-day cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean.
Naples / Italy
Piraeus (Athens) / Greece
Rhodes / Greece
Kusadasi / Turkey
Alexandria / Egypt
Alexandria / Egypt
Messina (Taormina, Sicily) / Italy

I am a young adult and have traveled a lot throughout Europe. So basically I am not really in the mood to see all the cathedrals and normal stuff, I want adventure. I have been searching for some excursions and have found nothing that really seems exciting, mostly sight-seeing. Does anyone know of a website where I can find some adventurous/exciting excursions? Or suggestions...

First tip, look through what RRCL has to offer on those stops.

Second tip, if you are looking for a real adventure and not sight seeing, you would probably be a bit disappointed based on the itenary.

What kind of excitment are you looking for? Heli-ski, sea kayak, scuba adventure or plain old zip line or ATVs?

The itenary indicate a "historic" stops = sight seeing. If you are looking for real adventure, a safari, an Anartica cruise maybe a bit more esciting.

Im pretty much looking for anything thats not a sight-seeing tour, so zip lines would be great, jet-skiing, scuba-ing, ATVs would be amazing! I can understand that about Egypt, how its mainly sight-seeing because thats mainly what I want to do there is see the pyramids and all that stuff but not in Greece and Sicily, I would have thought.

I doubt any of your ports will have the adventure activites you are looking for. These ports are really places for historic and cultural sightseeing. Yep, churchs, Roman ruins and more churchs and more Roman ruins!

go to cruisecritic.com and look at the boards. There is an area for destinations, etc. Lots of ideas from a cross section of people.
